Florya Primary and Middle School

As FMV Florya Işık Schools, our first and most important guiding principle is to raise "Good People First". With 139 years of deep-rooted history, our schools make a difference in education and take firm steps towards raising generations that will carry the torch of Işık into the future. Students are offered a modern and democratic environment where individual differences are taken into consideration.

Every student in this educational home, which is woven with respect and love, develops and changes to become a good person first. FMV Işık Schools students develop themselves in national and international projects in many fields with the support of counsellor teachers. In national and international organisations such as TÜBİTAK, eTwinning and JMUN, our students exhibit their academic, social, cultural and individual skills and make significant contributions to their future goals. The Eco Schools Programme, a programme that provides environmental awareness, environmental management and sustainable development education, is implemented in pre-school, primary and secondary schools at all FMV Işık Schools campuses.

All these practices are the building blocks for our students, who will contribute to the future of the country and the world, to become well-equipped individuals. The Florya Campus has outdoor playgrounds, playgrounds suitable for age levels, a swimming pool and indoor and outdoor sports fields. Students in the 7-14 age group receive education in classrooms equipped with modern educational equipment and technology. Computer laboratories, second foreign language classrooms, science laboratories, robotic coding workshops, planetarium, music classrooms and studios, visual arts workshops and the school library, which is planned as a learning centre, are used for students' learning by doing and research needs.
