Nişantaşı Campus
Nişantaşı Campus, the first campus of the Feyziye Schools Foundation Işık Schools, comprises outdoor and indoor areas of approximately 3.500 m² and 17.500 m² respectively. From its first Istanbul campus in Beyazıt, the school moved to new rented premises at the Naciye Sultan Mansion in Teşvikiye. Sometime later, this building and its land were purchased outright. The school took on its current form as its various buildings were erected over the years, and is now a modern educational institution. The campus’s four interconnected blocks house FMV Işık High School, FMV Işık Primary School and Middle School, FMV Işık Kindergarten, and also FMV Administrative Units. Other facilities within the campus include the Muvaffak Benderli Conference Hall, the Sacit Öncel Conference Hall, two indoor sports halls, two terrace outdoor football areas, a library, laboratories, digital classrooms (multimedia), and the FMV Işık Gallery.
The campus has been an accredited member of the CIS (Council of International Schools) since 2018.
Since the 2018-2019 Academic Year, IB PYP (International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme) has been implemented for students aged 3 to 12 in FMV Işık Kindergarten and FMV Işık Primary School which were authorized as International Baccalaureate World Schools in January 2021. As of the 2019-2020 Academic Year, the Advanced Placement (AP) programme, has been implemented in FMV Işık High School.
FMV Işık High School started to implement the IB DP in the 2022-2023 Academic Year.
FMV Işık Kindergarten, Primary & Middle School, and High School became members of the Global Schools Program, an initiative of the United Nations Sustainable Development Solution Network (UN SDSN) in the 2021-2022 Academic Year.
In FMV Işık Kindergarten, which gives importance to individualized education, students are also offered Montessori education. With this program, which is prepared in accordance with the sensory and receptive periods of the students, individualized studies are carried out in the fields of daily life skills, sense, mathematics, language, and culture in line with their own interests and needs. Self-discipline, self-confidence, and taking responsibility skills are developed with the Montessori Program, which was developed in Italy and spread all over the world, offering an environment of learning by doing, experiencing, and at their own pace.
