Işık Feyziye Mektepleri Foundation Schools, with its 138-year long history, contemporary, secular, and strong education system, has made a major contribution to the development of Turkey's modern society by providing full educational opportunity extending from kindergarten to university.

However, "to be a part of Işık" means much more than getting a good education. To be a part of Işık also means having a modern perception of life and a strong value system. To be a part of Işık involves the honor and happiness of joining a great and robust community.

“To be a part of Işık” is also the expression of a system of values that lasts a lifetime and reaches generation after generation...

LOKAL 1885 Social Facilities were established in order to contribute to this mission of Feyziye and Işık, and to provide an environment that will bring Işık Alumni together.

It opened its doors to the Feyziye and Işık community in 1997, as a result of the joint effort of the Feyziyeliler Işıklılar Association (FID) and the Feyziye Schools Foundation, which have done many successful works since 1944.

LOKAL 1885 contains the ideal conditions that provide cultural and social solidarity between Feyziye and Işıklı and lay the groundwork for social, cultural, sports and professional unity.

LOKAL 1885 offers a wide service network with its restaurants, cafes, multi-purpose halls, green open areas and closed semi-olympic swimming pool. With its renewed environment, professional kitchen, cafes and service quality, it has the function of being the meeting center of Işık Alumni.

LOKAL 1885 offers an excellent service in its indoor and outdoor restaurants, cafes and multi-purpose halls. LOKAL 1885's 170-seat restaurant can also be used by separating a 70-person VIP lounge if desired. The restaurant can accommodate 300 standing people.

Multipurpose hall facilities

LOKAL 1885's multi-purpose halls offer many possibilities to Işık Alumni. Multi-purpose halls can be used for events such as business meals, business meetings, training meetings, seminars, special family dinners, birthday celebrations.

Semi-olympic swimming pool

LOKAL 1885's indoor, heated and semi-olympic swimming pool can be used for 12 months. You can sunbathe in the green area in front of the pool in summer.
