2nd FMV Işık Schools IB Diploma Programme Professional Learning Community Meeting
The second IBDP Professional Learning Community (PLC) Workshop was successfully held on Tuesday, 26 August 2025, at our Florya Campus between 09:00 and 16:00.
The event commenced with the opening address delivered by FMV International Programmes Coordinator, Ms. Sinem ÖZGÖZ. In the first session, FMV Işık High School IBDP Coordinator, Ms. Jenny Chavush, delivered an informative presentation to all IBDP teachers regarding the updated regulations and practices of the IBDP Extended Essay.
Subsequent sessions featured subject-specific workshops in which IBDP teachers engaged in collaborative work on topics such as technological platforms, assessment and evaluation, and methodology. We extend our sincere appreciation to all teachers who participated in this workshop, which was organized with the objective of enhancing IBDP implementation across our five campuses, sharing best practices, and reflecting on the future of the programme.
The valuable contributions of our participants regarding the core components of the programme have further strengthened inter-campus collaboration. We are confident that this meaningful gathering will contribute significantly to advancing the academic experience offered to our students.
