The 6th “From Fiction to Stage” Novel Character Portrayal Competition, organized by the Turkish Language and Literature Department of FMV Ayazağa Işık High School and Science High School, was held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. As a result of the competition, in which the jury members had great difficulty making their decisions, Defne Su Ülker from TED Istanbul College won first place with her portrayal of “Alice”, Ekin Şen from FMV Işık High School placed second with her portrayal of “Jane Eyre”, and Selen Andı from FMV Ispartakule High School placed third with her portrayal of “Afife Jale”. We thank all the students who brought unforgettable characters from Turkish and world literature to life, as well as the teachers who contributed to their performances.
