“Chess: Mind, Solitude, and Resilience” with Kıvanç Koçak
Our preparatory class students had the opportunity to attend a special talk with Kıvanç Koçak, editor of the book Satranç. Held under the title “Chess: Mind, Solitude, and Resilience,” the event invited students to explore the text in greater depth and consider it from multiple perspectives.
The talk, which took place on March 27, 2026, at 13:00 in the Sacit Öncel Conference Hall, provided valuable insights into the editorial process, the background of the work, and its central themes.
Through this engaging experience, students not only deepened their understanding of the text but also enhanced their reading, analytical, and critical thinking skills while connecting with the intellectual richness of literature.
