On Wednesday, January 14, 2026, FMV Işık High School Prep Class students participated in an interdisciplinary field trip themed Galata–Karaköy, organized in collaboration with the Turkish Language and Literature and English Departments. During the walk from Galata Tower to Karaköy, students practiced descriptive narration and travel writing by interpreting the city as a living text. This experience allowed them to observe real spaces, interpret their surroundings, and rethink Istanbul through the use of language.
