Peer Courtesy In Turkish Language And Literature Classes
As part of values education, the concept of “peer courtesy” was explored in the preparatory class Turkish Language and Literature course. During the lesson, students generated thought-provoking questions using keywords such as life, happiness, excitement, trust, purpose, and ideals. They engaged in reflective thinking exercises designed to help them consider different perspectives through hypothetical scenarios.
Throughout the activity, students practiced asking questions respectfully and thoughtfully, experiencing firsthand the importance of courteous communication. In doing so, they strengthened their interpersonal skills and developed greater awareness of respectful peer interaction.
