Poetry Workshop with Yunus Bekir Yurdakul
The third and final session of the "Poetry Workshop with Yunus Bekir Yurdakul" event for 9th grade students within the scope of FMV Private Erenköy Işık High School Turkish Language and Literature Department activities was held online today.
In today's session, our students shared their nazire poems for Attila İlhan's You Are a White Woman, Nazım Hikmet's Cluster Willow, Oktay Rifat's Freedom Has Hands, Ataol Behramoğlu's There Is Something I Learned From My Experiences, Muazzez Menemencioğlu's Rainbow, Behçet Necatigil's Houses with Yunus Bekir Yurdakul under the title of "Human and Poetry". Yunus Bekir Yurdakul, who is known as an author, editor, teacher and published many books, evaluated the nazire poems, which our students brought together the tradition of divan poetry with the tradition of post-Republican Turkish poetry, within the scope of connotation, image, metaphor and characteristics of nazire poetry.
