In order to commemorate and keep alive the memory of Biology Teacher, Işık High School Principal and Foundation Board Member, Sacit Öncel, an ‘‘Sacit Öncel Biology Achievement Awards" event is held for the first time this year by Prof. Dr. Turan DURGUNOĞLU, graduate of Işık High School in 1963 and by his heirs. The awards were presented to their owners on Wednesday, 07.12.2022. Candidates were ranked by Jury members Eray AKYÜZ, Kazım ERGENÇ, Gültuğ ŞAHİNOĞLU, Selen URAS. Ezgi Aydın got the first place, Utku Savaşan got the second place, and Doğa Baykız got the third place.

Our students will receive their awards during the 137th Anniversary Celebrations that will take place on Sunday, December 18, 2022. We thank their parents and teachers who raised them.
