Santral Istanbul and Bilgi University Academic Trip
On January 13, 2026, as part of an academic trip organized by the Science Department, our 10th grade students visited the Santral Istanbul Energy Museum and Bilgi University.
At the Santral Istanbul Energy Museum, students explored systems used in energy generation, the processes of electricity production and distribution, and the evolution of power plants throughout history. They examined concepts such as sustainable energy sources, energy efficiency, and technological transformation from an interdisciplinary perspective.
During the visit to Bilgi University, students had the opportunity to experience a university academic environment and learn about the ongoing scientific research, laboratory facilities, and engineering-focused fields of study. This trip greatly enriched their understanding of the connection between science and engineering and strengthened their awareness of potential future academic pathways.
