Geography Lessons with Prof. Dr. Celal Şengör
We did our 10th lesson this year with Prof. Dr. Celal Şengör. Our topic was weathering and erosion. Our lesson started with the causes of drought in the Atakama Desert. It was focused on the sediment formation in this region caused by the excessive rainfall caused by the El Nino effect. Then the Professor introduced Köppen-Geiger climate types classification.
In his usual fluent and understandable style, our teacher shared his knowledge on the weathering and crumbling of rocks in the light of all this information. See you in our next lesson on April 1, 2021.
