IN COOPERATION WITH FMV IŞIK HIGH SCHOOL DISCIPLINE COMMITTEE AND KAÇUV, WE DRAW ATTENTION TO THE INTERNATIONAL CHILDHOOD CANCER DAY, FEBRUARY 15TH
As FMV Işık High School Discipline Committee, we continue to cooperate with KAÇUV (Hope Foundation for Children with Cancer).
Every year 300,000 children worldwide and approximately 3,500 children in our country are diagnosed with cancer and begin their fight against cancer. This is such a great struggle that there is even a day that draws attention to this issue all over the world: World Childhood Cancer Day, February 15th.
In order to raise awareness in our school regarding the 15th of February, World Childhood Cancer Day, we tried to draw attention to this important issue with the information given by the Discipline Committee representative students in the classrooms. The income obtained by selling yellow ribbons was donated to KAÇUV, and efforts were made to add light to their lights.
We should not forget that early diagnosis saves lives.
