Işık Schools eTwinning Projects
Four different eTwinning projects are being carried out at Işık Middle School that will continue throughout the 2020-2021 academic year.
In our school, which has achieved great success in eTwinning activities since 2014, our teachers from different branches support European awareness by conducting international projects and contributing to the process of our students' coming together and producing together with their peers from various European countries.
With the "SANARTE: Finding the European Artist in Us" project carried out in English lessons, our students introduce themselves and their culture through artistic works with partner schools from Italy.
With the "Be 14 in Europe" project, carried out with the cooperation of Science and English classes, our students are trying to raise awareness about sustainability, climate change and wildlife conservation with their partner schools from Bulgaria, Spain, Greece, Italy, Cyprus, Latvia and France.
Our project "Scratch Playground", also carried out in Science classes in cooperation with the Information Technology department, is learning coding with their peers from Romania and are producing materials concerning environmental and ecology issues.
Our project "Cultural Heritage of the Locality in which I Live", carried out in Social Studies classes, enables our students to share historical and cultural heritage by bringing them together with students from various schools from Croatia.
We wish success to Simge Sarıçam, Elif Muemin, Begüm Erdoğan Acıoğlu, Ömer Karabacak, İrem Vançin, Melda Erdoğan and all other teachers who will contribute to the projects.
