On March 8 International Women's Day, in order to pull attention to one of the Sustainable Development Goals '' Gender Equality'' groups were formed among both male and female students at Işık High School and "March 8, International Women's Day Football Match" was held. At the event, the theme #EmbraceEquity was embraced and the school community was informed about violence against women, legal framework for gender equality, men-women property rights, forced marriage, women in leadership and decision-making roles, digital gender discrimination and access to technology.
