Rahmi Koç Museum Tour
FMV Işık High School 11 IB class students participated in the Rahmi Koç Museum tour organized within the scope of the 20th century Turkey course, in order to experience the Industrial Revolution and its effects on the world, and to understand them from different perspectives. Our students made inferences by observing the pre-Industrial Revolution production and post-revolution production relations and the raw material / product relationship in the training workshops they attended during the museum tour. They experienced the mechanization stages of the Industrial Revolution and the formation and development of the transportation industry, which allowed the revolution to spread to the world. Our students have also had a pleasant informative tour of the museum and have been enlighted about the history of the city by examining the transportation vehicles that have survived all through the beginning of the 20th century and are the symbol of Istanbul.
