Social-emotional learning with primary children: More than just a bandwagon?
In this session we will be looking at the concept of SEL (social-emotional learning). We will discuss what SEL can contribute to the well-being of your young learners, and look at ways of applying its key concepts to the primary ELT classroom with the aim of helping children build resilience, self-esteem and value-based behaviour as a basis for lifelong learning. We will look at practical examples to demonstrate how SEL can be combined with fun learner engagement.
