The FMV Işık High School Musical Theater Troupe, which has been successful since the 2018-2019 academic year, performed the play " ''The Luxurious Life'' " written by Ekrem Reşit Rey and scored by Cemal Reşit Rey.

The play, which was initially performed during our Republic's 10th anniversary celebrations and represents the amusement of Turkish society following the arrival of Western culture, is a famous piece of Turkish theater. The play deals with two different classes in society and depicts absurd situations in which the lower class, who live their lives by stealing, and the upper class, who live a "luxurious life" by defrauding those around them, are left penniless because they spend what they have despite having the identity of 'the rich'.

Our play premiered on Monday, May 27, 2024 at 8:00 pm at FMV Işık High School Muvaffak Benderli Conference Hall, followed by a second showing on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 for school community members.
