On February 6, 2023, after the earthquake disaster that struck 11 provinces in Turkey, FMV Işık Schools students, teachers, Parents Teachers Associations and all our parents delivered our gifts to Hatay and stood by their side as we entered a new year. Immediately after this unity, we celebrated our National Sovereignty and Children's Day on April 23, 2024 with our children in the container city; we organized activities and presented our gifts in order to make them happy and improve their living conditions as much as we could.

Due to the great devastation caused by the earthquake, the material and moral needs of the region are still ongoing and it is important to provide continuous support to heal the wounds. As FMV Işık Schools, we aim to visit the container city and schools in the region on October 28-29, 2024 in order to share the enthusiasm of the 101st anniversary of our Republic and to bring hope back to their eyes; and deliver our winter gifts (coats and boots) to them in the enthusiasm of the Republic. In order to complete the necessary preparations, the end date of the project is planned for Monday, October 21,
2024.

Within the scope of October 29th Republic Day, the gifts to be prepared with your support will be delivered to the students in the region by our administrators and teachers, and the participation and support of our valuable parents in this meaningful project will make them feel again that our children are not alone; It will be the most beautiful reflection of the spirit of the Republic.
