Within the scope of the “18 March Çanakkale Victory and Martyrs’ Memorial Week” activities, an interview was held with educator – writer Yavuz GÖLBAŞI for our Preparatory, 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students.

He strikingly explained the historical developments since the outbreak of the First World War and the resistance to the passage of enemy forces from the Dardanelles Strait. Throughout the interview he dwelled on the unknown human aspects of the Çanakkale Sea and Land Wars, which changed the course of history. He commemorated our martyrs and anonymous heroes, and contributed significantly to raising awareness that they should not be forgotten.
