As part of the Çanakkale 18 March Victory and Martyrs’ Remembrance Week Activities, “Çanakkale Wars-Period Paintings Study Workshop”, which included anecdotes describing the Çanakkale Wars of the Turkisk painters of the period, was held with the participation of Işık University Faculty of Art Design and Architecture Visual Communication Design Department Lecturer, Assoc. Dr. Sibel Tuğal.

In the workshop, Işık High School Art Space Club, Art Club Portfolio and IB Diploma Program candidate students learned and developed different techniques with their painting, reading and analysis skills. In addition, in order to describe the period, the artists were made aware of the use of color, composition, construction, plastic and symbolic values and technical changes in their paintings.
