FMV Private Erenköy Işık High School Turkish Language and Literature Department organized the 9th Grade Debate Competition in order to improve our students' skills in verbal expression and public speaking and introduced debate to our high school students on January 17, 2024.

In the competition Ela Ege, Zeynep Açıkkol and Derin Çakar took part in the opposition team and Ender Deniz Işıklı, Barkın Ant Emiroğulları, Ela Yeprem on the government team to discuss "Social media usage should / should not be under family control until the age of 16."

We congratulate our students who participated in the debate competition, which resulted in the victory of the government team, and thank our jury members and teachers for their efforts.
