MUN Club students visited the Dialogue in the Dark Museum on March 9 2022. In the company of visually impaired guides, an Istanbul simulation tour was conducted in a dark environment. On this tour, they had the opportunity to ride the nostalgic Beyoğlu Tram, listen to audiobooks on the Üsküdar ferry, experience cinema with audio descriptions, shop in a café and chat with visually impaired individuals and ask the questions in their minds. This event enabled our students to empathize with visually impaired individuals, to raise awareness on this issue, and to put their audio book creation activities, which they carry out with the idea that "the way to learn is through encounters", on a more solid ground.
