As FMV Private Erenköy Işık High School and Science High School, we were honored to be with Prof. Betül Tanbay from Boğaziçi University as part of the World Mathematics Day activities. We started a pleasant journey with Prof. Betül with the question "Is Mathematics a Game?", in which we shared many concepts related to mathematics and made references to philosophy, history and geography. We also emphasized how important the concept of "curiosity" is for all of us.

Since 1989, Prof. Dr. Betül Tanbay has been working at Boğaziçi University, served as the first female president of the Turkish Mathematical Association between 2010 and 2016, served as the Vice President of the European Mathematical Association, and is also a member of the Executive Committee of the World Mathematical Union, which organizes the World Mathematics Day on March 14th.
