"Language Day"
This year we celebrate the 90th anniversary of the "Language Day", which was announced after the meeting of the Turkish Language Congress first held on September 26, 1932. As the Turkish Language and Literature Department, we organized a "Language Day Knowledge Contest" with our 9th grade students, and we also held our board activity titled "While There Is Turkish While There Is The Truth..." with our prep students. Within the scope of the event, our students watched videos about the announcement process of the Language Day, answered the questions of the competition that measured their awareness of the Turkish language with attention and enthusiasm, and focused on language mistakes on the boards.
In the activities prepared in accordance with our school’s understanding "To raise individuals who respect the Turkish language and protect their mother tongue", our students learned by doing and living.
