Twenty-four students from the 10th, 11th, and 12th grades of FMV Ayazağa Işık High School and Science High School participated in the International Mental Math World Cup competition. In this mathematics-focused event, our students not only solved arithmetic problems but also demonstrated outstanding skills in applying mathematical concepts, transferring their knowledge to other disciplines, and solving real-world problems.

All of our students successfully passed the first stage of this two-stage competition. In the final round, 17 of them ranked among the top 20 in Turkey and received certificates. Emre Mengi, one of our students, achieved first place in Turkey and ranked 16th in the world. Can Sedefoğlu and Aykan Salt secured second and third place in Turkey, respectively, marking a significant academic achievement.

We congratulate all of our students who participated in the competition, showcasing their ability to perform arithmetic operations quickly and accurately without the use of calculators, computers, or written tools. We wish them continued success in their future endeavors.
