Parent Development Workshop organized by the Psychological Counseling and Guidance Service The guest of our program in April was Dr. Deniz Aktan. In his presentation, Dr. Aktan first divided the risk factors in adolescence into two parts: Before and After the pandemic. He emphasized the meaningful presence of parents for an adolescent who is far from their peers during the pandemic period and how it is very important for the psychosocial development of the adolescent. Dr. Aktan explained to our parents how to implement the “Democratic Parenting Style” to help them keep motivation high, and then answered the questions from parents.
