In line with our school's vision, mission and goals of “supporting the creative processes of our students in environments that will enable them to put their knowledge into practice by experiencing and applying it”, FMV Private Erenköy Işık High School and Science High School Turkish Language and Literature Department organized a trip to “Rami Library”, the largest library in Istanbul, with 11IB E class on 14th October,2024. Our students took an orientation tour of the library, which has a seating capacity of 4200 people and a book capacity of 2.5 million and had the opportunity to visit youth and adult study halls, libraries and workshops, as well as department specific areas such as fine arts, literature, social sciences, history and geography. Our students did not only raise awareness about reading, research and discovery, but also had a pleasant time in the library garden.
