This year, the 92nd anniversary of the “Language Day”, which was declared after the convening of the Turkish Language Congress, the first of which was held on September 26th, 1932, is celebrated. The Turkish Language and Literature Department showed the anniversary video of the Turkish Language Association to our preparatory class students and shared examples of the use of Turkish words instead of foreign words that have settled in the daily language. Within the scope of the event, our students prepared a “When there is Turkish” board, which activated their ability to produce Turkish words.
