A trip to Topkapı Palace and Sultanahmet Square was organized for our 11th grade students under the guidance of history teachers Hilal Kibar and Mustafa Koç within the framework of our school's vision of raising lifelong learning citizens on 15th January, 2024. The aim of the trip was to reinforce what the students had learned in their history lessons during the year by seeing the administrative units of the Ottoman Empire and the place where an empire spanning three continents was ruled. Students were able to see the decision-making process of the Ottoman Empire, the culture of clothing, the change in architecture between periods and became aware of the changes in time as well as the differences between cultures.
