United Nations Day (UN Day)
Within the scope of the IBDP Program CAS course experiences, on October 24, our 11IB class students designed various activities to celebrate the United Nations (UN) Day. This year, for UN Day with the theme of "End Racism and Make Peace", our students created a song list on the theme of peace, made a karaoke event and held a parade with posters supporting peace and international harmony. In addition, with the informative presentation they prepared to be presented on the screens, they provided the school community the necessary information about the United Nations and its mission. The events provided space for our students to raise awareness of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, Reducing Inequalities, Sustainable Cities and Communities, Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions Goals, and to gain the power to take action in solving problems. We congratulate our students for their active participation.
