Middle school students in grade 5-8 used the reading program Achieve3000 this year in their English Through Technology class as well at home. Achieve3000 delivers daily differentiated instruction for nonfiction reading and writing. They worked really hard to improve their Lexile level throughout the school year. We recently had an awards show to reward those who worked harder than others. Awards were given for reaching the 40 lesson activity goal, the greatest Lexile growth, the highest rewards points achieved, and the highest average activity score. All in All, we believe this online platform helped them achieve their goal to improve their English literacy skills.
