On Monday the 17th of February, Grade 5 went to UniqExpo to see an exhibition about Pop Art in line with the Standalone Unit they have been studying on Art. They saw the works of Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Indiana, Robert Rauchenberg and Jacques Monory. After a short introductory documentary, the students roamed around the exhibition and discussed various pieces with their guide. There were interactive installations like a pop art building blocks room, Van Gogh bedroom by Roy Lichtenstein and a Studio54 discotheque. Grade 5 were engaged, communicative and polite.
