5th Grade World Issues club has been working on various social projects to support people in need. First they presented a drama in two morning ceremonies to promote their benefit called 'Jacket For Treat'.

On Monday, January 7th, 2018 they set up stands in 3-4 grade and 5-8 grade to collect jackets to benefit children at Bahçelievler Şeyh Zayed Çocuk Yuvası. Students brought in Jackets and warm clothes to donate. The Word Issues club students gave a cupcake or bag of cookies for their donation.

Their Jacket For Treat benefit was very successful. They collected 6 large boxes or jackets, warm clothes, and some money that will be used to buy additional sweaters. The warm clothes and jackets will be given to the children at Bahçelievler Şeyh Zayed Çocuk Yuvası this week.
