The Clap improvisation theatre group came to entertain Grade 5 students on the 14th of January 2020. The students were fully engaged and participated in numerous improvised scenes. They got to act out a fairytale in ever decreasing time period, prompt the theatre performers with random snips of dialogue, act in unusual scenarios with difficult physical restrictions, act as the puppet masters for the performers’ movements and finally stand on trial for a variety of violations provided by the audience. Grade 5 were excellent sports and expressed themselves very comfortably in English. There was a great deal of laughter and the time simply flew by. A big thanks to The Clap for a lovely end to the semester.
