On December 13, the Grade 7 students had the pleasure of joining in an Improvised Comedy workshop facilitated by The Clap, an English-speaking improv comedy theatre troupe. Grade 7 has seen The Clap perform twice before in their Grade 6 year, but this time included a fresh program of improvised comedy games and scenarios. Many of our students were able to come up to the stage and perform alongside the actors, while the rest of the audience was equally able to participate. The Clap did a great of job of making students laugh, testing their ability to understand and communicate in English and incorporating students into their performance. The workshop was a great way for students to both laugh and directly apply their English Language Arts and Awareness abilities.
