Year 3 English Traditional Games
The English Country Fair came to Işık Primary School today as we decided to have fun and celebrate Children's Day with some typical games you would see at a country fair or sports day. The students enjoyed competing in the egg and spoon race although we substituted the egg for a ping pong ball! We couldn't leave the hula hoop out as we had relay races flipping the hoop over our head and tried to see who could swivel it around their waist for the longest time. The students thought of ingenious ways to transport a balloon from one side of the terrace to the other without using their hands.
Today's activity was all about having fun and saw English transcend beyond the classroom.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish all the year three students a happy Children's Day.
